Hello, this is pastor gary from first baptist church of laplata. I do not eat seafood of any kind, but more power to you if you do. The Red Lobster Restaurant became famous for serving seafood, but even they could not cook up the orange lobster that showed up on their Hollywood, FL, supply truck. First of all, the lobster was not red—it was orange. Second, the lobster experts at Red Lobster knew that finding an orange lobster is very rare: how rare? 1 lobster in 30 million rare! The restaurant owner decided to donate the orange lobster to an aquarium in Myrtle Beach, SC, where it will live out its days undigested. Did you know Red Lobster’s mascot’s name is Clawde? I didn’t see that coming. Anyway, God’s Creation is full of color and variety—some of which we humans never see. Why did God create all of this stuff? He did not do it for us, He did it for Himself to express His creativity and His glory. God intends us to enjoy His Creation, but we are not the reason He created it. Colossians 1:16 reminds us that “…all things were created by Him and for Him.” Whether you are exploring it, watching it, or eating it, remember to let Creation do what is was created to do: point to The Creator!
